I grew up swimming for Wellington Waves. I have been an assistant coach for The Y and Whitecaps the last couple years and am excited to grow and learn more as a Head Coach this summer! My favorite part about coaching is seeing their technique improve and them truly start to enjoy each race.
When I'm not lifeguarding or coaching, I'm most likely working out for Lacrosse, modifying my jeep, or hanging out with friends. I can't wait to meet our new swimmers and to share the fun of swimming. This is going to be an awesome summer!
I have grown up around pools and loved swimming from a young age. I have coached for various teams in the last 3 years. My favorite part about coaching is introducing new strokes and seeing swimmers learn them. I love watching kids set their goals and blow past them.
In my free time, you can catch me on the water, hanging out with friends, or watching Netflix on the couch (suggest new shows to me!). I am very excited to meet a new group of swimmers and focus on technique to increase speed.
I come from a family of swimmers and grew up swimming for the Queens Lake Eagles, then later for my high school. I have coached swimming for several years and love teaching kids how to swim and be comfortable in the water.
When I'm not coaching or doing swim lessons at the WISC, I love being in and on the water, or out on the sailboat with my boyfriend and our cats. My goal as a coach is to encourage all my swimmers to love the water and grow up with swim team being one of their fondest memories. I am excited to watch all of our swimmers grow confident and strong with their strokes.
